Mission

Both, the festival and competition encompass Latin American music and works from the standard classical repertoire. Our mission is to encourage students, musicians, and audiences to discover, study, and spread the rich and captivating musical message of Latin American music and value the treasure left to us by the greatest minds of the common practice era.

Our Festival will offer several activities through the year such as piano recitals, lectures, workshops, and an International piano competition that will be held every two years. In addition, we will have a music improvisation contest. The goal is to motivate musicians to explore the wonderful world of composition and improvisation.

We will count with the participation of acclaimed artist from all over the world. The artist will be in charge of offering recitals, lectures, and other musical activities. Also, the festival has the support of important instrumentalist from the metropolitan are who will make part of our new HIPF orchestra.
